Bubble Seals™
| In order to secure each artwork and their certificate of authenticity individually, ARTtrust uses one of the most reliable security technology: the Bubble Tag™. |

Each Bubble Tag™, produced by Prooftag, is made of a translucent polymer in which a set of air bubbles is randomly self-generated. Each Bubble Tag™ is unique and impossible to reproduce. To be affixed on artworks and their certificates of authenticity the Bubble Tags™ are built on tamper evident Bubble Seals™.
Each ARTtrust-Online-branded Bubble Seal™ has a unique reference number plus a datamatrix code and is recorded in the ARTtrust registry.
The Bubble Seals™ are built on a tamper evident material to prevent any attempt of repositioning.
The ARTtrust website
The website's primary function is to enable registered photographers and artists (or their delegates under the artist's direction) to activate the ARTtrust Bubble SealTM, in relation to an artwork and its certificate of authenticity.It is also a tool for online authentication of the artworks and their certificates of authenticity. ARTtrust Bubble SealTM that can be checked visually to assess the authenticity of an artwork and its certificate. Finally, the website hosts photographers/artists and their artwork information presented in a gallery format for communication and promotion.
Whereas the website is a very convenient tool to manage and authenticate the certificates, you are not dependent on the ARTtrust Online database. Future generation will be able to authenticate an artwork and its certificate even without the website.
